+  Indicates that an animal is gaining weight continuously at the given temperature for that particular night.

-  Indicates that an animal is losing weight at the given temperature for that particular night.

Note: An animal may appear one or more times in different weight categories.
All animals had a BI value of 0.80 or greater. The minimum temperatures depicted may have existed on one or more nights during the winter months.
None of these animals were hibernating.
